Gratitude is in Season

Gratitude is in Season and it’s Transformative! “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” Wayne Dwyer Sometimes called the key to a happier life, gratitude can be truly transformative because it changes your perspective of the world. Gratitude can help you focus on the positive aspects of life. It can help build and maintain relationships with others, and most importantly, can help you focus on things that are truly important and meaningful in your life. By practicing gratitude on a daily basis, you can develop an ongoing feeling of well being and peace by deciding to appreciate things as they are. If you’d like to start a gratitude practice, consider spending two to three minutes each morning giving thanks for whoever or whatever you’re grateful for - perhaps even starting a gratitude journal. This daily practice can be transformative, because it reminds us of what truly matters in our lives. As you come back to your practice on a daily basis, you absolutely will find more and more to be grateful for. Positive energy begets positive energy. Perhaps, beginning a gratitude practice can be something to consider integrating into your life in the new year. It is the ultimate gift to yourself. I want to wish everyone the happiest and healthiest holiday and a safe and prosperous 2024! Please take a second and let the words below sink in. The author of this gratitude poem remains unknown. Peace! Karen E. BE THANKFUL – A POEM OF GRATITUDE Author Unknown Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to? Be thankful when you don't know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn. Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow. Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement. Be thankful for each new challenge, because it will build your strength and character. Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference. It's easy to be thankful for the good things. A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks. Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.
